If you don’t have passion or “desire”, then you won’t have the fire or strength to have longevity. You won’t have endurance or drive and won’t have the heart for humility. We must do whatever it takes to stay fresh in God and on fire for Him. The key to longevity is keeping your relationship with Jesus your #1 priority. As soon as prayer and God’s word become “a thing” instead of “the thing”, our passion begins to fade.
