For years Cheryl and I have purchased the Wow worship CD series. It is packed with a variety of great worship songs.

However, this morning as I was going to work I thought of something.

Imagine with me a cold dark building with no sound or scent. Or on the other side a lively church building teaming with people.

The tone is set and worship begins. As the church rises up to one of Websters definitions [3: a house of worship;] the experience begins.

In my opinion the wow of worship is not the song, the people nor the place, But the presence of God as he invades the heart, then the place.

I have for years always loved to watch His presence manifest. I look around the sanctuary, I see some crying, some are distracted and some are overwhelmed with worship.

What is amazing to me is that His presence could overwhelm one and someone beside me could not even notice Him.

The wow of worship is my personal worship experience with the Lord. It is a one on one event.

The wow of Worship for me is "how much I need him, seek him and find him"

That my friend is what makes me say WOW!!!!

That is what I seek, more than anything to make God say Wow look at this worship!!!
