This week I have really been praying regarding my role as a leader. My duties as a leader have increased dramaticlly over the past few days.

With that in mind, I have examined my heart. I feel strongly that leadership is more than titles or authority, Leadership is 100% about influence.

Those I lead will only follow, to the degree that I have influence in their lives.
It is my job to motivate, encourage, direct, train and coach the people I lead. 
It is my job to help them be successful and productive. 

There are five areas of leadership influence I am praying for this week are: 

1.  With those in my family, I pray my leadership is to serve and sacrifice for them.

2. With those I Pastor, I pray my leadership is to love them with compassion, lead them with wisdom and guide them through God's word. 

3. With my friends, I pray my leadership is to bless and encourage them in all I do. 

4. With the lost, I pray my leadership is to lead them to Christ in through the way I conduct and live my life as a witness.
 
5. With the world, I pray my leadership is to never compromise the message of grace, forgiveness and salvation; but give them Christ who is the message of Hope and Healing.
 
Join with me this week and pray for our leaders. And in our own lives, may I remind you? It doesn't matter your position or title, you are a Leader if you have influence in anyone's life. 

Lead with passion and purpose.

My prayer is: Lord, us me to influence people in your love, mercy and understanding.
