Cheryl and I returned from another trip to Aruba. We are glad to be home!

This weekend is our final One Prayer series message, "Lord Make us Passionate". 

One thing I have rediscovered traveling is how deeply passionate about my wonderful wife Cheryl, I am.
She and I had a great time together.  I saw again what a true blessing she is to me and my three girls.

I am proud to be called her husband.  One of my favorite verses in the bible is 1 Peter 3:7 7Likewise, husbands, live with your wives in an understanding way, showing honor to the woman as the weaker vessel, since they are heirs with you of the grace of life, so that your prayers may not be hindered.

I honor my wife today, I love you Cheryl.
I had a bumper sticker a few years ago that said "I love my Wife", I like it so much, I wish I still had it.

I believe that one of the greatest compliment a man can have in this life is,  that he loves his wife as Christ loved the Church. What a statement!

I want to be remembered as a man who loved his wife with deep passion and selfless sacrifice.

My passion today is to love my wife and children in that way, then display that love to all who are around us.
That to me is the heart of ministry.
