Restoration

This week has been exciting. My wife Cheryl launched her new blog site. Her writing skills and open hearted approach blessed me. I am also excited because just this week I have launched a new website for fallen and broken pastors, ministers and their families.

Our approach is designed to deal with the many issues and heartache that fallen leaders experience.

This site is not for justification, it's for restoration.

Why a website for Fallen Pastors?

·         Fifteen hundred pastors leave the ministry each month due to moral failure, spiritual burnout, or contention in their churches.

·         Fifty percent of pastors’ marriages will end in divorce.

·         Eighty percent of pastors and eighty-four percent of their spouses feel unqualified and discouraged in their role as pastors.

·         Fifty percent of pastors are so discouraged that they would leave the ministry if they could, but have no other way of making a living.

·         Eighty percent of seminary and Bible school graduates who enter the ministry will leave the ministry within the first five years.

·         Seventy percent of pastors constantly fight depression.

·         Almost forty percent polled said they have had an extra-marital affair since beginning their ministry.

·         Seventy percent said the only time they spend studying the Word is when they are preparing their sermons.

Pastors’ Wives

·         Eighty percent of pastors’ spouses feel their spouse is overworked.

·         Eighty percent of pastors’ spouses wish their spouse would choose another profession.

·         The majority of pastors’ wives surveyed said that the most destructive event that has occurred in their marriage and family was the day they entered the ministry.
Pastor Darrin Patrick  in Saint Louis compiled these statistics shared them in a message on the burden of pastoral ministry.

  •  If you, are a pastor or minister, that had to leave your pastorate because of exposed sin, or sexual misconduct, this website is especially for you!
  • If your church has gone through the heartbreak of losing a pastor because of moral misconduct, this website is for you!

  • If you are a believer that is interested in biblical restoration, loving discipline, rebuilding and the total healing of a broken minister, this website is for you!

Join with us in prayer for this vital ministry and let me know if our ministry resources can help anyone in you area of influence.

We will distrubute the site address upon request!

Blessings,

Danny
