Easter weekend
Today we are in Waco with Nana and Grandpa. We made resurrection cookies with the little girls.
What is amazing about the cookies was the reaction of my daughters. They both talked about Jesus until bed time. What you do is, tell the resurrection story while making the cookies, then seal them in the oven till morning. When they see them tomorrow, the cookies will be appear normal on the outside and hollow on the inside, meaning an empty tomb. They both said Kool Dad! Of course I took all the credit
We are going to church with Bill and Rhonda, Hewitt Community church. Ken Riley is the senior pastor, he was at Bethel when we attended. I'm excited to see him again.

Grandpa had fun with the Kids! But loved his Easter basket
I am really enjoying my new bible the (ESV version). I usually chose a different translation every year to read through it. Last year I read the New American Standard.
I also pick a book of the bible and study it in detail. This year I'm in Nehemiah, which is amazing considering we are building toward our church launch this fall. Church news: We announced last week that Eric Jeffries will be our Executive Pastor. He is excited about this amazing opportunity. He is an awesome friend, with so much compassion for the hurting. We believe he is a perfect fit. (God appointed)
Have a blessed Easter:
